Roma optimistic about Mile Svilar’s new deal

Talks are underway for the renewal of Mile Svilar’s contract with Roma.

Arrived as a release in 2022 after his experience at Benfica, Svilar signed a five-year contract that binds him to Roma until 2027, with a salary of less than one million euros.

However, thanks to an extraordinary season, his performance did not go unnoticed.

The goalkeeper has recently requested a renewal with a salary of between 4 and 5 million euros per year, a figure far from the current one but more in line with the salaries of the top goalkeepers on the continent.

Over the last few weeks, negotiations with Ghisolfi have continued, but the distance between offer and request remains obvious.

Despite this, Il Tempo writes that in Trigoria there is optimism that, thanks also to the break for the national teams, a positive conclusion can be reached.

Meanwhile, Svilar continues to train even on days of rest, demonstrating commitment and concentration.
