Watch Tom Izzo’s post game, on-court interview following MSU’s win over Bryant

Michigan State basketball has opened the 2025 NCAA Tournament with a big time win over the 15-seeded Bryant Bulldogs on Friday night, 87-62. While the score isn’t totally indicative of the game, Bryant showed up physically, and gave the Spartans a headache for a majority of the contest.

In the end, behind a career high performance from Coen Carr, and five Spartans in double figures, the Spartans were able to cruise to a win and moving on to the round of 32.

Following the game, MSU head man Tom Izzo got with Jon Rothstein on the court for a post game interview. Izzo talked about the toughness that was needed in the game and gave a quick sneak peek into what his feelings are about the upcoming matchup with New Mexico.
