Vikings sign explosive wide receiver Rondale Moore to add depth

The Minnesota Vikings had one of the deeper wide receiver rooms in the NFL during the 2024 season. They are looking to replicate that with some additional signings to back up the likes of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jailen Nailor.

On Wednesday, the Vikings agreed on a one-year deal with Rondale Moore of the Atlanta Falcons.

Moore was traded to the Falcons last year after being drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Ironically, he joins the team he has had his greatest game against from his rookie year when he secured seven catches for 114 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown in a win for the Cardinals over the Vikings.

Moore will now look to bring that explosive playmaking to the Vikings after missing all of 2024 with a torn ACL.

In just three seasons on the field, Moore has caught 131 receptions for 1,170 yards while scoring three touchdowns. Moore can be used on special teams and in designed running plays, so he should fit in well with the Vikings’ coaching staff and what they like to do on offense and special teams.
