Browns: Devin Bush contract extension details revealed

By bringing back linebacker Devin Bush, the Cleveland Browns keep some continuity in their linebacker room.

The Browns signed Bush to another one-year deal after inking the former first round pick to a similar deal an offseason ago. The contract details of Bush’s extension have been released by NFL reporter Aaron Wilson.

On his one-year deal, the Browns are paying Bush $3.25 million in 2025. Of that base salary, the Browns are guaranteeing $2.97 million of that with $1.8 million of that paid out in the form of a signing bonus. Bush is set to make up to $15,000 in active roster bonuses and another $250,000 in playing time incentives as well. These playing time incentives are necessary for Bush as the Browns continue to sort through the uncertainty surrounding the neck injury of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.

Bush’s deal also has four void years added to the deal to spread out his cap hit over a forever-rising salary cap. This means Bush’s cap hit in 2025 is going to be extremely negligible.
