Four-star defensive lineman list four SEC schools among his favorites

Four-star defensive lineman Kendall Guervil has named his top schools. He lists Texas, Florida, Alabama, Michigan, and Georgia as his favorites, according to On3. He even scheduled a visit with Georgia, according to 247Sports.

Guervil is a four-star defensive lineman in the class of 2026. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound defender plays football for Fort Myers High School in Fort Myers, Florida. He had significant interest in Miami early in his recruiting cycle, attending a summer camp and unofficially visiting the Hurricanes on Sept. 7, 2024. However, he’s never had an official visit with the Canes, something he’s already scheduled with Georgia, Florida, and USC.

The four-star prospects official visit with the University of Georgia will be on May 30, 2025. He is the No. 8 ranked defensive lineman in the class of 2026. He’s also the No. 9 ranked prospect in Florida and No. 75 recruit in the country, per 247Sports.

Georgia has some work to do on their recruiting class. The Bulldogs currently boast the No. 22 ranked recruiting class in the nation with five commitments. However, things are expected to pick up for Kirby Smart and his new director of scouting soon. Georgia has not ranked outside of the top five in recruiting since the first year of the Kirby Smart era.
